BIOGRAPHY

Paola Rossato is an Italian singer-songwriter, composer and multi-instrumentalist whose music is rooted in storytelling, human connection and personal growth.

After establishing herself within the Italian singer-songwriter scene, in recent years she has opened a new international chapter, writing and releasing music in English and developing artistic connections beyond Italy.

2023–2026 — A New Chapter

Paola’s increasingly strong connection with Ireland, her encounter with Irish singer-songwriter Gráinne Hunt in 2022, and the relationships developed with musicians and songwriters from different countries gradually shaped a new artistic direction.

In early 2024, she made a defining choice: to devote herself fully to music. With lyrics always at the heart of her work, she began writing new songs in English, bringing together music, travel and her desire to connect people and cultures through songs.

  • August 2026 — Performed a full solo voice-and-guitar concert at St Augustine’s Church in Derry, Northern Ireland, as part of its Summer Lunchtime Concerts series.
  • August 2026 — Interviewed live on Highland Radio in Letterkenny, Donegal, talking about her music and artistic journey.
  • 2026 — Featured in an extensive interview with Donegal News about her English-language songs, artistic journey and long-standing connection with Ireland.
  • From March 2026 — Began releasing her new English-language album one single at a time, with the songs accompanied by official music videos.
  • 2024, 2025, 2026 — Participated for three consecutive years in the International Songwriting Retreat at the Irish Institute of Music and Song in Balbriggan, Ireland, writing alongside songwriters and musicians from different countries.
