I just got back home from an incredible experience in Ireland: the International Songwriting Retreat in Balbriggan organized by The Irish Institute of Music & Song. It was hard to come back home after such a wonderful week together. I want to send a virtual hug to all my fellow participants: our amazing mentors: Rob Wells, Maria Christensen, Duke Special , Ryan Sheridan all the amazing and talented songwriters that now I can call friends, the organizers and people from Balbriggan.
Thank to Sorcha, Michael, Bryan for all your help and support and all the patience and the passion you put to your great work.
Thank you.
I gained so much this week: invaluable advice on how to advance my career, a huge help with my songs, a significant improvement in my English language skills… but above all… an enormous sense of welcome and openness that made us feel like a family.
Thank you all, I carry you with me.
