Behind the video
For this song, I needed a really simple video. The lyrics already hold a whole world of images and metaphors, and I didnāt want to add anything that might distract from them. So I went for a lyric video, something that would leave room for the words. One morning I was at my regular cafĆ© near home, coffee in front of me, with absolutely no idea what to shoot. Then I looked at the cup and had my little “aha!”moment: this is it! Two hours later, I was back with a small camera and filmed it.
