Heavenly Pause
A song about renewal and quiet beginnings.
The writing was joyfully guided by introspection and a pause – like nature in winter – to regenerate.
It is a hymn to life, to inner rebirth, and is deeply connected to the awakening of nature in spring.
In the video we show blooming fields as a symbol of renewal.
The song is a gift – an invitation to pause, rediscover the beauty within and gratitude for life.

HEAVENLY PAUSE
Out of the blue comes a sparkle of light,
through all the whys that I struggle to find
there’s a heavenly pause,
there’s a golden gift of life
in my deepest daily fight,
in my deepest daily try
Through all the truths that I didn’t find out
a hope comes to me in a dress made of sound
with this heavenly song
by a golden ray of light
from a warm room in my mind,
from my safer inner sight
I hear a sound in my soul, it comes healing my wounds like the touch of an angel
It gets me up when I let myself down when I leave all my life far behind
it keeps me awake when I turn myself off, when I struggle to find any reason
it whispers to me to stand tall, it says “go straight ahead, never put your head
down”
Out of the blue comes a sparkle of light,
a dream coming true that’s so vivid and bright
it’s a heavenly pause...
it’s a heavenly, heavenly pause…
I hear a sound in my soul, it comes healing my wounds like the touch of an angel
It gets me up when I let myself down when I leave all my life far behind
it keeps me awake when I turn myself off, when I struggle to find any reason
You call it God, call it karma or will, call it Lord, call it faith or just luck...
… I call it Music
I call it Music
Whispering soul…
It’s a heavenly pause.

Behind the song
Some pauses are not empty. They are regenerative.
When I filmed Heavenly Pause, the field was covered in yellow mustard. It looked like a moment of stillness — a field of gold, standing quietly between seasons. Only later I discovered something really interesting about that field. Before new vines are planted, mustard is often grown to prepare the ground. Above the surface, it feels like a pause, below the surface, the soil is working. Roots loosen the earth, nutrients are restored. What looks like stopping is actually preparation. Heavenly Pause was written in that same space. It came from a time when slowing down was not an escape, but a necessity. A moment that didn’t push forward, yet quietly made room for what was to come. A pause that heals, so life can begin again — tuned, ready, alive.
